Smacky was born in Poland and at the age of 7, she left Europe to join her mother in Toronto, Canada, where Smacky was raised. Her introduction to the arts came early, and she grew into a mischievous sprite whilst surrounded by music, theatre, dance and art. Her passions are many, her methods are highly variable, and nothing feeds her soul as completely as her time with her art. Smacky currently works and lives in Amsterdam, Nederland. This site and all of her efforts are wholly dedicated to those who have a love-kissed twinkle in their eyes and an adventure-fuelled fire in their hearts. NOTE: I've had various inquiries about the origin of the moniker "Smacky" - years ago, my user name for access to multiple programs was generated using the first initial and three letters of my last name, creating SMAK and yielding the nickname. The rest is history. Rolls off the tongue a little easier than Sandy Maksimowska, dontcha think?...
